This obscure, stamped white label first appeared in 1992 as second release on Juice Box, mainly known as A Guy Called Gerald's record label.

This partnership came about through Ubik (me and Viv Beeton) sharing same management with Gerald in the form of Terry Hollingsworth.

The year is 1991 and we are sitting in Caspar Pound’s F2 Studios after mixing the Ubik Pagan EP. There are some hours of spare studio time left so... we decided to see if we could make another record. Using previously started jams saved on Atari, we worked hard and Toys was the result.

Pretty much “only for the Headstrong”, this has been a treasured release for those in the know including John Peel who used to play this weird techno/electronica gem.
